Adjacent to the castle, the sprawling country park spans over 550 acres, featuring a network of wooded trails that lead to the beach. For a delightful day excursion, the nearby islands of Arran and Cumbrae are easily accessible, while Cairnryan offers the possibility of a day trip to Ireland.
